I didn’t plan to stay here long. I arrived in Sweden thinking it would be a short visit — just five days in Kiruna. But then the world changed, and those five days became weeks, months, and eventually a decision to stay.
The silence of the snow-covered forests, the shift of seasons, and the quiet moments under the sky reminded me of what really matters — nature, presence, and meaningful human connection. That feeling changed how I saw life, and it eventually became the reason I created Raw North Adventures.
Now I live here, guide here, and spend my winters showing people the parts of the Arctic that don’t feel forced or crowded — just calm, real, and breathtaking
